Professional Standards
Becka Bravo, L.M.T., 500E-RYT is a licensed clinical manual therapist in the State of Ohio and an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, the highest credential awarded by the Yoga Alliance. Becka maintains professional liability insurance, and services are provided in accordance with applicable laws and professional standards.
State Licensure
Services are offered where legally permitted. Availability in each location is contingent upon applicable state licensing requirements.
Prior to confirming travel, licensure requirements, treatment location suitability, and scheduling logistics will be reviewed to ensure compliance and a seamless experience.
Medical Scope
Clinical manual therapy and the Bravo Method is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Clients are required to disclose relevant medical history and ongoing treatment to ensure safe, individualized care.
Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate health information.
- Notify BFT of any changes in medical status
- Ensure a safe treatment environment.
- Inform BFT of contagious illness before appointments.
- Massage table and sheets.
- Provide adequate space for massage table and any additional equiptment brought by BFT.
Confidentiality
Privacy is a cornerstone of our practice. Client identities, schedules, residences, travel plans, health information, and all aspects of treatment remain confidential unless disclosure is required by law or expressly authorized by the client.
Liability
By scheduling services, clients acknowledge that massage therapy involves manual techniques that carry inherent risks, including temporary soreness or discomfort. Clients agree to communicate any concerns during treatment so techniques can be adjusted as needed.
Equipment
Provided by Therapist:
- Oils, creams and lotions (unless client prefers to use their own, subject to therapist approval)
- Manual therapy tools (such as Theragun, red light therapy, cups, etc.)
- Mobility tools (Functional Foot Kit, yoga blocks, straps, etc)
Provided by Client:
- Private room
- Massage table
- Linens (one fitted, one flat and one pillow case per client; top blanket; access to bath and hand towels)
- Travel costs (First Class required for overseas travel)
- Accommodations if overnight stay is necessary
- Parking or building access
